How do you plan out your video?

I hate to say it, but 90% of the time, it's me texting my partner saying, "What do we film tonight?" And we go back and forth via text while we're at work. Then when we get home, we have a basic idea, then improvise it a little bit before setting up the cameras, and then film and edit.

This is what I do:

1. Choose the topic to shoot the video
2. Research little bit to get finer details to add to what I know
3. Write a gist/summary of key points with section and sub section
4. I shoot around afternoon as I rely on sunlight from windows.
5. Make sure camera battery has optimal level to sustain for 30mins.
6. Start shooting. 1 shot per section whether 1 or multiple takes. Repeat shot if it didn't come properly keeping video recording.
7. Record voice overs (if required)
8. Edit all later.
People like you will do great because you have a process that works for you :) good job mate![DOUBLEPOST=1486220133,1486219968][/DOUBLEPOST]1. Think of an idea.
2. Research it.
3. Make a script.
4. Record audio.
5. Start putting video together in sony vegas.
6. Place appropriate video clips or images that I have taken or recorded in.
7. Upload.
8. Tag and stuff :p

Im going to change my process up today however because I have used this one for 3 hours and I am starting to find its not working out for me too much :p

I have a list of ideas that I pick from, then I write out all my thoughts on the topic. After that I read it several times until I have most of the ideas memorized and then start recording.

I choose something I wanna play and I just play it. If I didn't play games on my channel then I would do the same thing just with whatever I'm doing.
