You definitely need a capture card if you want to get noticed on YouTube. Also, there are loads of popular games but the most popular in my opinion would be CoD, Minecraft and pretty much any well known newly released game
 
DaFookHD has it in one, while camera-on-TV is ghetto and a little bit funny-dated in a sort of way,the sound quality and video quality are going to suffer horribly and it will not garner much support. Grab even an el-cheapo capture device of some sort and run with that.

I just decided on getting the black magic intensity shuttle capture card. I will get it around october

hey i made my channel a few weeks ago and i post pc gaming videos. i don't play cod or battlefield(i'm an rpg guy) im playing deus ex human revolution right now(no commentary) i play without commentary because i want my viewers to experience the game as i do. i have a really high end pc so my stuff doesn't lag. i won't play minecraft. i have really good render settings(all my videos are 720p) and great audio. i plan to do unboxings and reviews of computer parts once i get the money. so please check out my channel :)
