Fullscreen Lawsuit

You need permission to use someone else's music unless it is a parody making fun of the original artist or song in an obvious way.

Lets say you are Justin Bieber for a minute. His song Baby was covered over 50,000 times on YouTube easily. If each one of those got an average 2,000 views, that is 100,o00,000 views. That is a lot of money he deserves :)

But that can kill people. I'm not saying it is right, I am just saying why don't they just take the money instead of suing? Any money they make would be theirs, and everybody should be happy

They are suing because Fullscreen would not allow them to take the money... It is no big deal though. It won't effect anything, and companies in this industry get sued all the time.
