Alright, i need to clarify a couple things on this because i guess i was being too vague - i do require attribution if any of my music is used, and i WILL require that a contract be signed before i send any part of the song to the consumer. This isnt only for my benefit so that i dont get ripped off, but it will allow you (if you use my song) if youtube flags the video for copyrighted contend, i can show them the contract that states you have the right to use my music. So with that in mind, the only way we will be able to do business is if these requirements are met, and if thats not something youre comfortable with, then we wont be able to work together. Yes it is just music, but ive been producing for 7 years, and ive been working with record companies for 4 years, so i pride myself in maintaining a professional atmosphere when it comes to my music career.
