Can't upload GIF header?

Ok, So I have been trying for about 30 minutes now to upload this animated banner (GIF) and YouTube just won't accept it..

It says the file size is too big, please reduce it to under 2MB, when the file size is 1.69MB.

I have also tried creating the GIF in different programs (Photoshop, Flash and some online website)

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I cant upload my banner either and its .98 mb it says its too big....

They were made available today, people still have them so they must be

From what I got when I downloaded the template, think its still the proper one.
Max size is: 2560 x 1440
Min size is: 1546 x 423

So yours shouldn't be to big, try uploading it into the size of the TV one (Max) or Desktop Max (2560 x 423)

sorry to tell you this but it's 1.5MB not 2MB
