Best Youtube Network!

There's no best network for everyone. Each channel will have different needs and there's usually a network best suited to that channel. Right now, that right fit is Fullscreen. We need a network that won't interfere on the creative side while giving us a little boost in revenue so we can invest more money into the show. As we grow, we will most likely outgrow Fullscreen into a network that has a more hands on approach. We would like to be with Big Frame or Collective down the line.

So do you have to do something to be eligible? (like the vultra promotions were you have to advertise on your banner or in-video or in description)?

Gorilla is just a self made pre-roll ad. They supply you with footage and talking points and you make the pre-roll that will run in front of your regular video. The only down side is that once you hit 10k views, you cannot change the start time of your video, which means the gorilla ad will stay up-which could be a turn off to any potential audience after the promotion is over because if you monetize the video, you'll see the normal ad and the gorilla ad. I think they ask that you leave the gorilla ad up for 30 days and you have to have an annotation running during the entire length of the ad (typically 30 seconds to a minute).

Yea that`s pretty much the same as one of the options in the Vultra Promotions

We've never done one. If we were to do one, we would stick it on a low priority video that only gets around 5-6k views so we can edit out the ad later on by changing the start time. In talking with a few of the larger channels (200k subs and up) with Fullscreen, many of them don't want to continue to advertise for free after the promotion is over (because they cannot change the start time) on their larger videos, so they usually dump the on vlogs or lower viewed videos.

I don`t think I`d ever put promotions in a video it would be just annoying, putting links/icons of a company you`re promoting in the banner isn`t so bad but it generally pays less...

It is, but you can make a lot of money if you're a larger channel. We did a collaboration video with Food For Louis last week that he used for his gorilla campaign. The budget was around $8k total with a $25 CPM. His video did about 125k views before the money ran out, so he made over $3k from that video in just over 48 hours.
