I voted Adobe since I've been using Premiere for my videos basically this whole time, but I just want to say that people can make good videos with whatever they have.

This is actually my second attempt at a YouTube channel, when I started my first attempt I was using Windows Movie Maker (not linking to that old channel, no, not only is it a cringefest but I'm also trying to keep these two identities separate for various reasons). Not really a good editor, but it got the job done, and those videos got waaaaaay more views than I thought they would. I did very quickly get my hands on Premiere CS5 though, and I didn't regret it, but before that I worked with what I had.

I know of other animators/animatic-ers (is that a thing?) that use things like Windows Movie Maker and their stuff is good too. It might not be the """best""", but people can find a way to make do with what they have.

My software isnt in the list. I use AVS Video Editor, and it's been great. Although I think I need to update the version because I sometimes have a crash when I go to produce the file. Just a bug though, and the update should fix that.

I would say Premier was the best software out of the lot, followed by Imovie as the best "Free" video editor and then Movie maker (In terms of accessability) :) I could never get my head around FCPX...

Adobe Premiere Pro has been great for me. With the subscription service you get constant updates, cloud features, among other things. Adobe also offers a variety of apps that work very well together.

That's just what works for me though. It is nice to have options.
