Illegal to reject the link request? ********.
Internet lawyers and all that jazz I suppose.
A contract involves two people or companies. One cannot sign a contract without the knowledge that the acceptance has already been determined by both sides. Barring the fact that Awesomeness seems to partner anyone with a pulse and several without. They have not taken any precautions to determine first of all, who agreed to the terms, second to actually communicate with the channel to provide the "offer.
Linking your channel in YouTube is a part of the contract process. Specifically, it is the part of the process that verifies the owner of the channel agrees to the contract. If any part of the contract process fails, then the contract is meaningless.
Reject the invite if you want. Even if Awesomeness cared to try to chase you down (which they don't because they invite thousands of channels a day), there's nothing they could do to force you to link the channel. It's debatable whether these terms contracts are actually legal contracts since the source company never signs it. Something not yet tested in court. Any good contract lawyer would destroy a legal challenge from Awesomeness trying to force a channel link based on an application form terms doc.
