Are Networks ruining YouTube?

Yea I think they are especially the networks with really low almost nothing requirements. There is not reward as to being a YouTube partner anymore it's not something you can tell all your friends about now since now every crappy channel is partnered as well.

People can join crappy networks and get partnered as well. It is not just YouTube doing this.

I think that it is a great idea that everybody can have a banner. I don't think it's a good idea that everybody can monetize their content. It turns out to be an unpleasant experience when there are too many ads. Radio and Television have turned out to be so bad that I don't watch or listen to anything live anymore.

Most of websites on internet are making money (and many of them created primarily for earning purposes), but not all of them are crappy, ability to earn drives a lot of good sites which greatly entertains us or gives a good source of information.

I guess same with videos, a lot of crap comes because of that earning possibility with no quality supervision, but a lot of good vids too, which usually wouldn't came into life without this monetising possibility. Let the Youtube community do their job by rating whats good and bad :) same as we do it for ourselves too - bookmarking good channels and ignoring the ones we do not like.

The problem would become real and it really scares me - if one day my AdBlock would become inactive or unable to handle ads :)
