Are any Mobile views Monetizable?

Like I said, It works really well for me, maybe not for others, but I like getting the 'bang for my buck' ;)

Yeah but you'd get them viewers anyway? its not like having all platforms enabled will stop you getting them monetizable views, it just will also let others view

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. My payout and CPM are better then ever and I'm on track to do youtube fulltime straight out of high school. Do you have any evidence to back up your claim?

LOL what? I'm not making a legal statement, it's my opinion. Machinima cut payments for partners, many networks won't monetise mobile views (they used to monetise more mobile views from what I understand), so in my opinion that is how it seems. Chill.

A few things that haven't been mentioned:

1. Video interstitials don't work with mobile safari, so if you like the folks you're subbed to, watch on the YouTube app (if you can stomach it).
2. CPM/CPC will continue to rise over the next few years, as the ability to target direct demographics is forcing advertisers to shift revenue from TV/Cable/billboards/etc, to ensure a higher ROI
3. Advertisers are scared of mobile - their creative isn't designed for it. Hence the delay. But with mobile web traffic truly spiking in 2012, they're finally getting there. It won't be terribly long before there's an increased demand for mobile ads.
4. Don't hate your network, or YouTube for mobile views - right now, it's a lack of inventory. Blame the advertisers for living in the 90's
5. I like pie

Most networks don't pay for mobile views because of view botting which means if they did you would get paid for botting your views which is stupid. If you look at videos analytics botted views show as mobile views but not all the time only if there's a big difference between mobile-normal

Very good points thanks, especially point 5 I found it to be very informative.

1. Machinima only dropped payments for 50 people (out of over 6,000)

2. Why would networks stop monetizing mobile views? That would mean less money for them. I haven't heard of a single network doing this.

These aren't opinions, they’re lies. Excuse me for being so intense about this, but I hate when people go around spreading there uneducated ideas.
