Age and YouTube

Don`t lie because if the find out they can blacklist you (tell other network not to trust you)

1) go for a network with no age requirment
or
2) wait

and sorry to wreck your dream but to get in TGS you need at least 50k views a day you have 4k views total...

Could you reccomend 3-5 networks?Dont care if 1k views ,can handle..But better with no 1k req...

Its quite unprofessional for a Network to have an age limit.

Well more >14 y/olds for us other networks
I totally disagree with that statement. Most people don't know what they are getting into with a Network. For YouTube Partnership you had to be 18 because it was a legal contract. So technically if you are under 18 and you sign up they cannot legally hold you to keeping that contract unless you had your parents sign something.

I'm all for YouTubers of any age, but I'm a little concerned that these Networks are convincing 13 year olds to join them when they don't know the legalities of it.

Oh, believe me I understand, working with a network I know that about 2 in 15 people don`t read the contract, but as someone under 18, parents are asked to read it too, which means its more likely they will understand.

And actually the people most unlikely to read it are 16 y/o`s who act like 6 years y/o`s.

Exactly. I just feel like these networks shouldn't be expecting for someone who is 13 or 14 to commit the next 3-5 years of their lives to them, especially if they are just starting out with their channel.

Yes well that`s the reason for a 500 views per day minimum, Networks like RPM have a 84 views per day requirements to make a living off channels who won`t be making much and shouldn`t be looking to be partnered yet at all.

At Vultra we had to lower the requirements from 1250>750>500 , as socialblade have been continuously lowering theres to almost nothing...
