85k views, Not a single monetized playback?

videos aren't automatically monetized, unless you check the box. did you?

also youtube is going haywire rolling back "non legit" views. i lost over 100K views (that's a quarter or my total)...

word to the wise. ditch adsense (DON'T CLOSE THE ACCOUNT) and apply to a partner.

Could you point me in the direction of a good resource to research a suitable partner??

this forum. google.

RPM, socialblade, creatorX, fullscreen as far as the partners go. don't go for machinima/big networks (although you can't say these guys are small), look for smaller ones that will pay off in percentages, instead of a fixed rates (i.e. $2/1000 views)... smaller networks have the advantage that you won't be "lost" in a sea of sub-par channels, and you will actually have a chance of emailing and talking to support. (this is highly debatable, others will know more, I'm speculating)

I've recently been partnered by Vultra (a subnetwork of bent pixels) and... I can't tell you if it's good or not because their site/partner dashboard is still under construction so I can't do anything yet. so the jury is still out...

No, Just cat sites like showmecats.com, catvids.com etc.. But nothing that "promises views".

I've used the internet long enough to know that anything "promised" for free on the internet is an auto red-flag.

The thing that gets me is if this is indeed bots, WHY?
what's the point in "attacking" people's videos with bots and screwing ppl over on their views...

I could see if the video was competition for someone's viewers, but it's my FIRST voice over video... poorly made at that! lol.

I am not even annoyed, mostly astonished that it's so unregulated that you can do the equivalent of an "e-mail bomb" to YouTube videos and cripple them financially.
 
dude, you problem isn't bots. don't overcomplicate things.
i tried your channel vids - not a single ad showed up. you adsense is wither not connected to youtube, or you didn't monetize your videos (just because you have adsense don't meant all your videos are monetized, you have to ENABLE each one's ads separately). either that or some sort of 3rd party content match that youtube can't monetize for you.
