85k views, Not a single monetized playback?

I'm agreeing with everyone else on here. It looks like it's fake views. Possibly botting. Not saying that you are the reason for it, but considering low amount of subscribers, and low amount of comments. Not to mention 83,000 of those views are mobile. Which majority of mobile views are not monetized, and YouTube did have that mess up with Mobile View bots last month.

It looks like the video views were botted. Not saying it was you who did it, but it looks like someone out there did.

Yep agreed there haha sorry buddy but Frankie has a point, don't bot it's bad for your YouTube health ;)

I see his point, but let's look at the other side of the coin:

The video is SUB PAR at best.

Spending money to get views on this kind of video would be a pretty poor business decision, one would think.

Last but not least, the sheer lack of money in my wallet tells me that I definitely could not afford such an endeavor, sounds expensive?

Nobody's accusing you, people get their videos botted by third parties all the time. One of our own forum members was 'attacked' by a subscriber bot, adding 500 subs in two days, and he got kicked off his network for it. It does happen. But by the looks of it I don't think you stand a chance of earning any money from that particular video.

Most likely your video has somehow been botted by a third-party... that or the mobile views got blown waaay out of proportion for you like they did for alot of other YouTubers in the past months or so, and YouTube hasn't audited them yet ^_^

That really sucks, because it seems to be keeping a momentum of 100-200 views per day :(
So you are saying YouTube will likely NEVER pay me for the views on this video?

***Added*** Or any future views?

Frankie Just stated that you will not earn from that particular video, future views as well.
unless you upload a viral video that gets you off once more for money then thats a different story

simple terms, if you upload another video that gets alot of views then you could earn money off of that, just not that video which has 83k or so
that's what I thought. Just wanted to clarify.

Thanks a bunch guys, this place is really useful!! GLAD I found it.

Is there any way to protect against bot attacks? seems kind of unfair that ANYONE can do this and cripple a video...
