Zoomin.TV Spam?

Well PMing unless the channel lists an email is really the only way to contact channels :p

Every network does it, even the "big rep" ones like Fullscreen

I've only heard of larger networks doing it to rather large channels myself, I am pretty sure Fullscreen and most of the others don't have recruiters who send out invitations to the vast majority of channels out there. Spam is spam pming or emailing, the messages weren't asked for or opted into.

Fullscreen does indeed do it :p Their message is pretty generic too.

I don't think sending one PM for a business opportunity is spam tbh..

I ain't seen people mentioning it other than larger channels myself, it still doesn't make it good business practice. Its sent to thousands of people, if it was sent to a few and was completely original then it might not be seen as being spammy. These messages are copied and pasted, tweaked a little and sent one after the other to loads of channels. The opportunity is more or less the same for each recipient too. In my opinion its like me having recruiters spamming people inviting them to YTtalk through their YT inbox and offering them free VIP and tips for their channel and saying its not spam when they send more or less the same message out daily. Just because they may get something out of it doesn't mean its not spam. That's all my opinion of course and you are welcome to have your own.

Oh I didn't know we were talking about the exact same message :P

Well not always word for word, recruiters appear to use templates for example quickly "Hey (username) I am from xyz network and I noticed your (type of channel/niche) channel would be a perfect match for our (subnetwork/vertical) and so on". It seems they mainly target those just within the requirements mostly as they're more likely to consider the offer as special/unique and sign.

Well FIRSTLY they mean CPM as in eCPM which is the same as what most people on here call RPM and is after YT's cut.

SECONDLY I really doubt it's the same person, they have alot of staff, probably hard to track who has PMed who.
They could easily create a document to keep track of who has reached out to who, and before a recruiter sends a message they can check that document.

Well they do, the Zoomin Dash has a whole section built for that purpose so there must be an issue which is why I recommended emailing Zoomin :p
