YT Videos Target for men over 20-30 years old - All the world

Forget the demographic
It sounds like he has traffic from other sources (not YT) that he wants to drive to Youtube and make it profitable. That traffic, apparently, is 20-30 yo men. He can have a separate channel with content that is focused on that traffic, I don't see a problem with that.
I have traffic for YT videos from men over 20-30 years old and older (all the world).
Girls. Girls will be the most common interest among most of that traffic. Figure out something with some kind of sex appeal but that will still allow monetization (not really easy but possible). Unless you have a different way of monetizing the videos, in which case you can make the content a little less family safe.

Yeah, that's my impression too.

Sounds like he has website traffic from that demographic. My advice in fact would be to keep that traffic on the website (if it's a website you control) and monetize it through some sort of affiliate marketing. The reason is that the advertising revenue on YT isn't good at the moment and you'd probably earn more through affiliate marketing.

Some good affiliate marketing niches for that demographic would be poker signups, make money online training and ebooks, online dating signups, forex training, forex trading accounts. Basically 2 broad subjects: money and sex and all the related niches.

In affiliate marketing you have 2 main types: CPA - cost per action (you get paid if the visitor clicks through and fills in a form for example) and PPS - pay per sale (you get paid if the visitor clicks through and buys something)

Even if you don't want to do affiliate marketing, you could put up adsense on your website and probably earn more than through adsense on YT because of the better revenue share (approx 65% for the publisher)

Listen to the other guys, I have no idea what's going on lol

Boy, isn't that the truth. RPMs are ridiculously low across several of my channels, but especially this one. If I weren't paranoid about Youtube not liking affiliate links in my description and terminating the channel, I'd consider doing that myself. I still might.

And that would be the niches right up my viewers' alleys. LOL. Do E-Cigarettes still do okay or not really? A few years ago I had accounts with a bunch of CPA and affiliate companies but I've been out of that game for awhile.
