YT showing incorrect subs count?

I Love YTtalk
Let's see if I can explain this clearly.

1. When you go onto your own channel whilst logged in, you obviously see your 'live' subs count at the top left.

2. When subscribers go, there is a delay, HOWEVER, if they visit the 'about' page of your channel, they can see the live count too.

3. On SocialBlade, the count takes a few hours but will usually update the subs count within about 5 hours tops. If the view count updates, the subs count updates with it as well.

MY PROBLEM:

Earlier today (about 8 hours ago) I lost 2 subs at exactly the same time and dropped to 409 from 411. 'Oh well, never mind', I thought. Probably closed accounts or whatever. No biggie.

On SocialBlade it's telling me I still have 411. The view count updated about an hour or two ago, but the subs count hasn't changed.

I logged in via another account just now, and on both the main channel and the about page, it also says 411. (I checked StatSheep and YT-Stats which also say 411 subs... vidstatsx says 410, but I've never found their stats to be all that reliable anyway). The Chrome plugin VidIQ also says 411 subs when I visit a video. I don't know how live that is though.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It could just be majorly delayed, making it seem strange. I keep quite a close eye on how the stats are updated and whatnot (so that I'm not surprised by things like this), but it isn't making any sense to me.

I hope I explained that right. I'm not complaining that I lost them, I'm just wondering if GlitchTube is acting up again :giggle: sorry for the ramble, wasn't sure how to explain it!
