what say about audio retention?

more over how much audience retention is good for the channel?

is it say 25% or 50% or 100%
 
Something along the lines of 50-70% is good but it depends on the length of your videos. Many people make 2-3minute videos. My videos are around 25-40 minutes long and I get around 30-35% retention.
 
Audience Retention is important but the over-all watch-time of your channel is more important. Meaning, how many minutes each month do viewers watch your channel.

Are you sure? So because my videos are really long I get a massive boost over people with shorter videos but higher retention %? What is your reasoning for this?
 
Gamers by default, have a VERY big potential for getting plenty of "watch time", because of their long videos.
I had a video that had 1,000 views and 60-70% audience retention. However, the watch time was low, because it was only 40 seconds long.
That means, I need to about 2-3 views to get 1 minute of watch time.

You want it more like this:

300 views
1,500 estimated minuted watched

Something like that.
I could be wrong though, someone correct me :)

My above statement is what is generally being stated by YouTube.
