Youtubers who say "Hey guys"

Personally; I think "Hi Guys" or "Hi All" or even just a "Hey" is more than acceptable if your just doing a quick update video on short notice or say you just want to remind your subs about an upcoming event or your just letting them know about any changes happening to your channel thats fine to me...doing that to open every. single. video. is downright annoying in my opinion and a little insincere.

Guilty of the "Hey Guys" XD

On my recent video to introduce my Patreon, I made it a point not to refer to who I'm talking to as a general mass of people and rather, take an interpersonal approach...I messed up towards the end; meaning it's a lot harder to not mention "you guys" then I thought...that or I've just practiced that way to the point where it's almost instinctive lol.

ATM, I'm using "How's it going my friend". Not 100% on it, but I feel its more personal that way :/

I keep trying to have some sort of branded consistent intro but I am terrible at making videos consistently and keep forgetting to do it until I am half way through editing :/
 
“Hey guys” is the first two words of every video I’ve done.

Maybe I’ll change it to “HEY YOU GUYS!” - like Sloth from the Goonies
 
When I am looking for walkthroughs and a video starts with "hey guys.." I go to another video, its bloody annoying.
