Youtubers who say "Hey guys"

I've tried saying some variation of it, but every time I do I just feel awkward saying it. In the end I just didn't do it and just jump straight into the video.

I say "Hi guys". I think it's nice when I watch someone's video and they say hello. It makes me feel welcome.

It works great for some. It sounds awful for others. But it's their channel to do with as they see fit.

I wouldn't say that it annoys me - if anything, the stuff that makes me facepalm is when people try to come up with a "nickname" for their subscribers. It works if you're a huge YouTuber like PewDiePie, but trying to come up with a fun petname otherwise seems forced and cringey.

For me, I just say "Hey Guys"...a little friendly greeting and a force of habit, really haha. At least its shorter than my other greeting: "It's Your Friendly Neighborhood Youtuber!!!"
