Youtubers getting noticed

I have had people I've never met before (but can directly link to someone I do know) come up and say they've seen me on YouTube. But I've yet to have an actual stranger who just randomly happened upon our videos. Still, it can be weird when you are talking to someone you don't know who has watched your videos. It's like they know so much about you but you know nothing about them. It's very awkward.

nope i haven't been recognized outside..i hope one day some random person would walk up to me and be like "hey i know you from your youtube" lol

Unfortuneately no one will ever recognise me, unless its holloween. Because my channel revolves around my changing apearance and the masks i wear, no one will ever see my face (without doing a bit a detective work) But it would be cool if someone did know who i was on the street

A lot of people from my area know that I make videos and share them on Facebook and such and yeah, I have had a few approaches. But it was from people who know my people. I also get the occasional "wow your videos are hilarious" from someone I don't know at school lol.

How does that feel? Knowing some people watch your stuff

I dont share my videos on facebook, so 99% of my friends dont know that I make videos.
Sometimes some people come to me and tell me that they saw my videos

You guys ever get noticed by people outside ? Do people(strangers/anyone) recognize you from your youtube channel ? If so, how does that feel? Do you like it?

I feel a bit censored when it comes to some aspects of what I want to talk about, considering my family watches my videos. I've been wanting to create a religious acceptance type video because I am a satanist, and everybody automatically considers me a "devil worshiper" but you know, it comes with the territory of being a satanist! I however do not think this would blow over well with my entire conservative christian family background. At all.
