done...
okay, its indeed not the background of the channel that gets you subscribers, but it was just plain out eye candy for those who put effort in it. im gonna miss the backgrounds when my channel will be switched, eventhough mine is a bit dated. so far ive enjoyed one thing on the one-channel layout, which is the ability to not only view the newest videos at the top, but also the oldest, the rest has all gone buisness-mode i think. white/grey boxes and only a little banner and avatar (which to my annoyance overlaps the banner giving you less space) to personalize your page a bit. one-channel isnt bad, its just not what many people want, take the ethernal battle between apple and android for example, one major diffrence between the two is that apple has icons and icons only on the home screens, for some people this might be boring, so they choose for android to get the slightly less organized homescreens with the diffrend widgets and themes. it all comes down to what you want to be able to customize, but in the phonemarked you have a choice, in these layouts you dont and soon we will all have to switch whenever we want it or not. one-channel is more organized, the old layout is more eyecandy.
i personally dont like one-channel as much as the old layout, but thats just me.
