Hi friends, i just started to use a new video recorder program witch is the well-known VLC Media Player, and yes, it can be used to record videos. Now the problem is: It records in a unique file format witch is not really a video file (.ts). It has a converter function also, so i can convert the stuff to (.avi) or (.mp4), but if i want to edit the converted file my video editor /witch is camtasia studio 8.4 for me/ can't render it, and it also doesn't have sounds in it. I mean the (.avi) converted /video/ file. But, anyway if i open it up with VLC Media Player it has sounds. So my question is, what is your experiences about reocrding with VLC, and what program are you use to convert the (.ts) file made by VLC to a video file uploadable to youtube? Thanks for any replies!
