Could someone please leave a comment telling me the youtube video dimensions?

For 1080p quality...

Are you a gaming channel or vlogs? 1080p isgood for vlogs and skits imo. You must have a video cam that has a native resolution of 1080p.

for gaming channel, 720p is enough.

The ratio of the player is 16x9, though YouTube will appropriately letterbox 4x3 footage.

It's always 1920 x 1080. That's not a YouTube thing, that's how the aspect ratio works. 16:9

It's 1280x720 to 1920x1080.
It depends on what you render it in and whether your equipment records in HD.
