Youtube Update?

I got it on my Retro Gaming channel...IT'S f*****g AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You no longer know when you get comments. Your account and channel links are all gone in the top right corner. You can't turn it on uploads only so the channels you are subbed to when they upload a video you have a higher chance to miss it because your seeing everyone's comments and likes. Awful...plain and simple. It's the worst home page ever. I guarantee you this is why I have taken a hit on my views because of this new s****y layout.

I've been watching my stats today, and I watched yesterday too... and either YouTube's counting gnomes have farted out... or this new layout has screwed the pooch for us all, so to speak.

I don't like it.

If we could see when we received new comments, had the drop down in the corner, etc... but it had that cleaner look like in the image above, it would be fine. That, and the option to filter out all the random comments, likes, blah blah.

Well geez, guess I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw a view drop the last couple days. I still think the look is nice, and cleaner than before, but if they're actually removing the links from the top-right drop down without replacing them, that will suuuuck.

Also, if you can't filter the stream to uploads only, is that YouTube's way of encouraging you to like and comment more - to stay on users' front page?

It's not really new any more people were getting it months ago they are slowly rolling it out to everyone it seems. Dreading the day it comes to my channel lol

It seems the stuck numbers issue is a YouTube issue. It's happening to a lot of people. So our numbers might not be sucking as much as we think they are. lol Have a look-see.

Where's the red??

No more red for dislikes. As people have been predicting, it's like YouTube is getting closer and closer to removing the Dislike feature. I like dislikes. It either tells me I need to work harder next time, or in some cases it tells me that I must be reaching the right audience!

As for the new interface, it looks like they're trying to make it more touchscreen friendly. Not sure if I like it yet. I definitely don't like the way a new video slides in from the right when you click it. It's one second wasted on aesthetics when it could be buffering instead.

Looks like they've just ripped off Facebook's layout. If they're going to update anything, it should be their upload section. It's extremely slow and temperamental, definitely needs an improvement.
