YouTube Traffic

I've Got It
Hey guys :wavespin:

If I'm not mistaken, I thought there was a way I could see where traffic to my YouTube channel was coming from. I know there is a way to see if the traffic is coming from the U.S. or some other country. However, do any of you know if there's a way to tell where people are clicking on my link? :O_o2:

For example, whenever I complete a new monologue. I post it on several different social media sites. I would like to see from which social media is the link being viewed the most. Is that possible? :unsure2:

Yes, it is possible. Use google url shortener and then make different short url for every different media. Then track from where you got the most clicks.

Was going to suggest this. You would think YouTube would update their analysis and analytics stats to include this information. Been using youtube since 2012 and i am still hoping they implement a feature like this for nothing more than simplicity's sake. Until then, the google url shortener is the best way around their lack of analytical tools such as this.

For each platform create different google link and note it down, for example, Facebook - link1, Instagram - link2, etc. Then google will count a number of clicks on each link, then you can just check your notes and see from which platform you are getting the most views.
