YouTube Teams vs One Man Channels

There is no doubt YouTube Teams perform better because they have more people behind the channel. "Video Creators" just dropped a video today reconfirming that....

I myself am a one man channel. I write, do all the characters , and edit everything together on my own, then push it on social media sites.... I prefer to have control of the comedy because it's my vision and pride myself on being able to making people laugh.... so in a sense I like being a one man channel, but having other people helping (especially with promoting) would free up a lot of time and enable me to make more videos a week.....

What do you guys think? Better to be one person, or a team of people running a channel?

Here is a link to Tim's Video. Let me know if you agree with him

I'd love to have a team, but as in a team of other stars, other people who would be also on screen instead of behind the scene. Sadly there's noone I'd love doing this with and noone with the same motivation I got.

I wouldn't mind having some other faces on my channel either.... Doing all the characters means shooting every character once more.... it's time consuming, but convincing I'm hearing.... many people think I have an identical twin, haha..... a compliment really

I feel it's more beneficial to be a one man production when you start off, just because you want set the tone of everything and make sure your channel represents what you want it to be. When you get bigger, that's when more people should come in as you have an established brand and style which you can explain to your team.

But also being in a youtube "clique" helps a tonne. Just because you help promote each others videos for free and have a supportive group of like-minded people behind you! But yeah, that's the rambalings of my mind haha!

I would just like someone to edit for me tbh lol. I can record till my fingers fall off, but when it comes to editing, i just get really frustrated, especially if i mess something up, and dont realize it till after its finalized... oh yea, gears start grinding lol

I am a one man show. I have collaborated in the past, and will do so in the future. But primarily it will just be me. Any collaboration will be on the front end though (camera work and such). The back end is the most time consuming thing (editing).

two of us on the channel me and a employee of my other business he dos filming and photo shop work and finding things on the net ect like how to videos so i only watch the good ones , and i have 3 part time camera men
