YouTube Shows...

So tell me guys, when it comes to YouTube shows, would you actually sit there for half an hour or 24 minutes, watching a show like you would on TV? Or do you prefer to watch something more along the lines of 8-13 minutes? I'm just curious because I hardly ever see anything go for 30 minutes on YouTube. Which leads me to think that most prefer a more fast paced video.

(Unless you're my two little brothers. They can't do one thing for more than 3 minutes without getting bored. xD)

I have watched some documentaries taht were an hour and a half on youtube. I dunno if it interesting enough I will sit for a while.

Depending on what it is I could just sit there and watch it. It could be 30 minutes it could be a few hours, I could just sit there and watch it :3

I've watched shows and podcasts thats been like 4 hours long.

As long as I'm interested in it I have no problems watching it for a long time.

The hard part about youtube is to get someones attention, and you wont get someone to watch a show for the first time thats 30+ minutes long.

Start of with shorter series. Build an audience and then you can make longer videos.

It really depends. If I'm going to be folding laundry or lifting weight for my sweet biceps, I prefer something longer. But generally, if I'm in front of the computer, I want the video to be no more than a few minutes. I try to make my videos between 2 and 4 minutes because of this.

Hahah I aaalllways watch Youtube when I'm folding laundry :D it's like a ritual.

If you are a new channel, your videos should be no longer then 10 minutes. as you gain more views/subscribers you can increase the time over time. but it all depends.
