Youtube problems?

For some reason the past couple of days youtube has not been working properly for me. Some videos won't let me change the thumbnail and others people tell me wont load or never get put up because it says they are still being processed even though its almost a full day since I uploaded them. Am I the only one who has been having trouble?
 
I did have trouble with uploading thumbnails the other week too, I kept on hitting save changes and clicking the thumbnail above the custom one, then the proper one and hitting save again, it really tested my patience as many would update right away and others were seemingly stuck, in the end I waited about a day for the rest of them and most appeared within 24 hours and a few were missing which I reuploaded and saved and now appear as they should.

I've had the same issue with thumbnails taking forever to change to custom.

So what I do is time it so I'm right at the computer when it finishes processing. As soon as it says done (and I mean as soon as), go to the little public/private icon on the video in the video manager (have the video manager open in another window). Click it.

That'll take you to where you can change info/upload custom thumbnail, tags, etc. If you do it this way, the custom thumbnail option will be there right away. No stupid waiting for it to materialize. Upload that motha as fast as you can! lol

Doing it this way hasn't failed me yet. Instant custom thumbnail.

Sometimes it takes forever for the thumbnails and custom option to show up if you wait on it in the original upload window... by then it'll be too late. So I definitely suggest the route above.

Otherwise it could take up to 24 hours. And that's balls.
 
Thanks Strata, it is a right pain in the neck especially when updating loads or if you just want to post the video say on Facebook looking as intended. I will definitely try that out soon :)

I haven't had this problem yet but with the way my luck is going it probably bound to happen soon lol


I'm going to also edit in that I solved the problem with my video not being processed simply by signing out and signing back in. The simple fix you don't think about :/
