Youtube most commonly used keywords research?

Hey YT experts,

I was curious if there are any sites that help you track the number of searches of specific content.

Google trends doesn't provide enough granular insight.

For example, i want to track for 'Clash Royale' video game videos, what terms are commonly searched with the words 'Clash Royale'

Do you guys know of any sites that allow you to track this? And if not how do you guys approach setting titles for your videos?

I would highly suggest getting TubeBuddy, if you're new to YouTube and a first time user of it you might be able to get the 14 day free trial. It'll suggest tags for your videos based on what you enter into the Tag Explorer.

Other methods are type the keywords you want to use into Google or Yahoo and take some of the phrases that appear for the auto-suggestions and put them into your keywords/tags.

Yes! Been using TubeBuddy for a while now. Absolutely wonderful tool for tagging and such.

Another great technique I learnt from a YouTube Video on SEO is to use the YouTube search tool itself.

Type in 'Clash Royal' followed by A, check the first 10 auto results that drop down and do the same for each letter of the alphabet.

This way you are seeing all of the top 10 searches (most searched terms) related to Clash Royal and it will also give you ideas.

Ie if I did this for fifa it might be;

Fifa 16 f

Fifa 16 funny videos
Fifa 16 free kick tutorial
Fifa 16 formation guides

etc

Hope that helps.

wow this is a really good idea that I will now have to do.

If you want a tool to help you track Google searches, you can use a plugin I downloaded for free on seobook.com. I believe it's called, "The SEO Toolbar." Note: It's only available for Firefox. It'll tell you how often words or phrases are searched monthly and daily. It's something to consider as Youtube searches (while the most important) is not the only place your videos can be searched. For me, a lot of my videos is focused on "Affirmations" and this is what I get.

I use the Heartbeat extension for Google Chrome. When you want to tag your own video, you can search for how many monthly searches there are for a specific tag on Google and YouTube. Don't know how accurate it is exactly compared with other tools.
