Youtube just the first step.

For me, YouTube is going to be my foundations, but I have so many ideas for branching out! like Its my first step towards opening my own music/gaming/film studio here in Ireland...and make it faking awesome and create the basis for a youtube scene here in Ireland!

That's why I am trying so hard to expand my audiences to get closer to that goal.
Are any of you like this, where you want to go to infinity and beyond? Or nawh? Comment below what/where you wanna go from youtube :)
 
It's great that you have ambitions to branch out and good luck.

I am the same, I have many ideas and am working on 3 other business opportunities, YouTube is just the start of my plans. I've made my mind up that I will never work for anyone else again and am working towards that with all my ideas.

Yes absolutely! Two days ago I set a couple new goals for myself that involve branching out from YouTube. The first was suggested to me about taking notes for a future book about YouTube. I am going to do this for sure, since it'll not only be fun, but informative to tell and teach about how I went from delivering pizzas to a full-time YouTuber focusing on teaching how I did it, and what my life is like doing it. The next goal is to take that topic and condense it to say 5 minutes, for a Ted Talks that reaches the national level. Both of these goals will be a lot of of hard work, but they won't seem like it since it's right in my wheelhouse of what I love to do.

Those are just the first few that come to mind, but in the attempts to find ways to expand my audience, I see endless possibilities, but more importantly I think is that I believe they will happen. Show me this post a year ago and I laugh at myself, but a lot has happened in a year :D

Id absolutely love to be where you are right now actually :D but sadly I have never reached enough people with my videos...like I think they could be doing better but ahhh YOLO SWAGGINS and what not :cool::cool:
 
I have absolutely no idea which for now, suits me fine, it fits in with the rest of my life. I do things because I enjoy them and YouTube is one of them :) who knows where it'll go but somewhere nice would be good :D
 
I started this branching out a while back. I knew I wanted to gear more towards cars after doing the cars and coffee videos. They are my "bread and butter" sort of speak, the most popular videos on my channel. I also wanted to try my hand on car reviews, and the first one I did got 170 views in a single day. This is not typical for my videos, they usually max out at around 100-150. They just don't gain anymore. In the end it ended up being 480 views. I think I'll gain some more views on it in the future, when I start a playlist. I can't start one until I got 3 or 4 reviews up, otherwise it would look weird on my front page.
