Youtube hobbie, job, ect...

Ohhh I don't even say I like playing video games I feel ppl might think I'm lazy or something ehh so much pressure.!
i just saw you watch lucahjin : )[DOUBLEPOST=1394598607,1394598503][/DOUBLEPOST]its just a hobby i don't think it will get any bigger than it is now
i'm having fun with it so whether it is a job or hobby doesn't matter

I don't really mention it unless someone else did or I have a good reason to. I don't want to seem like I'm pushing it on people. If people ask me what I do for fun I just say video games for the most part.

I say i do commentary which is what i do. I commentate on certain sports title in a professional manner. Im not just some dude who spouts off a load of non-sense, i actually try to produce good quality in a different kind of light

I'm sure many will disagree with me but when people ask me what I do (I juggle about 3-4 jobs), the first job I tend to say is YouTube. I feel quite ashamed to tell people I work an 8 hour job because lets face it, whether you're an employee or a boss, an 8 hour job is nothing unique. I do however tell them all the different jobs I do but yeah, YouTube is usually said first.

People usually become interested in what I have to say about YouTube.

Although I'm nowhere near rich from making YouTube videos, I use the YouTube money to pay for all bills and can afford food for most of the month.

Well, since I'm a shameless attention ***** at my core, this one comes naturally to me. When I engage new people in conversation I just happen to mention I've developed and alternate income stream as an internet content creator. Start with that and you'll draw a small group of people around your conversation that are very interested in your story. Almost everyone of those people will look up your videos/content.

How do you tell people youtube is your hobbie ur job or anything like that? I find it hard to tell some people that ask me what I do for fun and I say music instead of youtube. Idk have u guys told people or friends that ask you? I personally find it hard to tell people about my youtube channel. Do you guys think I'm weird?

I've posted every one of my videos to my personal facebook... And a lot of my friends share the same hobbie I make videos about.

People get hung up on the word 'job' because it means that you are being paid for services. It would be better to say that you earn a share of the ad revenue for allowing YouTube to put ads on your videos. Yeah, that's a long sentence but it is more clear than saying 'job'.
