YouTube Help - Is this OK?

I wouldn't worry about having 100 videos out already, at least you are passionate for what you are doing to crank out content that fast, but do make sure the quality is high as the old adage if quality over quantity after all.

Uploading more than once a day will harm your video's "impact views" as I call them, the views you get quickly on the few days after release, but new subscribers will have more content to keep them engaged and a backlog of your content they can watch if they really like you as a "commentator" so you might find gains over time, especially if you are doing lets plays which I imagine you are.

I say that coming from the perspective that I have personally 4 videos (series) a day for a month period in the past, have uploaded at least 1 video a day every day for over a year and usually between 20 minutes to over an hour of content if you count the seperate games im uploading in a day together, for a stint it was 1 hour and 40 minutes of video per day that people STILL WANTED MORE OF, so cater it to your viewers comments and input. If they don't watch it on the day (hence mentioning impact views) they usually come back to those series when there is a lul, often preferring complete series, so I tend to not bother with what views my videos are getting on release.
I usually average 2-3 ongoing series released daily, I dont think it has hurt me but has definitely given me a larger presence across youtube for people to find my channel through, the difference between me and you though is your only doing Minecraft? If you release several videos a day thats going to get stale very fast surely, not just for you but your viewers so maybe diversify if you can would be my view/tip.

I'm currently doing Binding of Isaac and Minecraft. Because of the release of 1.6.1, I actually benefited several viewers. But that's because it was a tutorial. Right now I'm only stuck with Minecraft and other PC games. I do collabs but unfortunately my friend, and partner, is grounded. And I should appeal to the viewers? What if the viewers don't comment. But I guess that's my fault. So I'll just slow down and maybe hopefully get much more diverse content out there then, if that's what you're saying. :D Thanks![DOUBLEPOST=1372776607,1372776548][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm really not sure. I'm sure some of my first viewers were from YTtalk. It makes me a little sad to think it might be because I'm a girl.

Nah, I saw your vids. You're really outgoing. That's probably why. And because you're a girl. But that's the advantage of Gamer Girls. Not a bad thing!

Yeh in terms of spreading content out, think just how many people do Minecraft and then think how many search slots for a search term your competing for involving minecraft, for me being able to do different games has helped as I have become some top search terms for obvious phrases and im not even a big youtuber so it helps to have fingers in many pies so to say.

The pool your competing against for audience attention is so massive, it couldnt hurt to do something a little different, saying that its Legend of Zelda im top search terming for so sometimes you get lucky, so many people have done that as well, but not as many as solitary minecraft videos if you get what im saying :P

Luckily minecraft is something big on youtube and could help in a different, way say for example you did a lets play or series of some big game and that got some attention, they would probably love your minecraft stuff too and you get views all the way back, but you need to do that thing, whatever it is to get noticed and as is the case always with youtube, a large slice of luck.

I would definitely not recommend doing several minecraft videos a day though, one is all you need at most :P Diversify, offer more! :P

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely follow!

I only post 2 videos a week or 1 so I give them time to get views. I have 14 videos and 123 subs. I guess it depends on content but I think you should cut your videos down. It's up to you though:).
