YouTube Gamers who don't talk

Huh Waffles?
So I have noticed that there are a good chunk of YTers who do close to no talking as they play, there are a ton who do absolutely forced garbage commentary, then there are a select few who do amazing commentary.

So do you guys (who do watch LPs and such) enjoy someone who is a great gamer but with sub par commentary or a sub par gamer with good commentary?
 
Sub par gamer with good commentary.
For example...Game Grumps. They can't play games WORTH A DAMN but their commentary is hilarious.
That's how I hope my gaming channel is. Especially considering I'm literally terrible at games.
 
Helix snake - doesn't talk in most his video game stuff and it is hilarious. (granted they are small clips of stuff that glitches out, but you get the picture)
 
I personally just like watching a blank screen with no talking what so ever. I bet someone will become YouTube famous by just posting videos of nothing except the video color bars haha!

In all seriousness, I enjoy gamers like Markiplier.
 
No one likes a bad commentator. Except for the hard asses who are "MLG!!!" that won't like a sub par gamer with good commentary. Pewdiepie is a great commentator, and he's actually really good at gaming in general!

Definitely good commentary. Honestly, the gameplay means absolutely nothing to me, it's just their to create more funny moments when the commentator fails at something. But besides that, I could care less about the gameplay. As long as they edit out the really repetitive stuff and make progress, I won't really mind if they're good or bad at the game.
 
For me, it's definitely a subpar gamer with good commentary. I usually never go to gaming videos for the actual game anyway, it's almost strictly for funny/entertaining at least, commentary. Like my friend, he's a good friend, but his commentary absolutely sucks, so I don't watch his videos.
