YouTube Failures

Yup, so many failures. Sometimes my editing software crashes and I haven't saved once, it lags my audio so my video and audio are not in sync, once, there was no sound in a video and I already uploaded it and sometimes I just mess up recording a video so badly that I just give up. :(
The "crash and I have not saved since started" is somewhere on the boarder of "I think i am gona go and see how the other end of a shotgun tastes" levels of insanity.

You just stop and go to bed and pretend it is oky :D

EXACTLY. Luckily, I panic until I open it again and see that the software opens exactly where it crashed. Good guy Pinnacle :')
You were lucky.

This was the worst thing that happened to me. I was doing a cover of an opera song, and using the guitar as the voice, and its a pain in the a** to do, because to imitate a vocal quality you need really weird precision and little bends and stuff like that. It is hell (I will post it at the bottom of the post, if you are interested, if not just skip it).

And I made a take, that I was really pleased with. And keep in mind, most of the stuff I record is done on the second or 3rd take, this was a good half a day of just trying to get right, so I was just exhausted. But I got the take, and started mixing, and it was soooo perfect, and in the last "click to render" the whole thing crashed.

I was devastated. I ended up re-recording it, and it turned out okay, but looking back at it, I was so angry that I just wanted to get it done, and for me it feels rushed and not as good as the elusive mystery take that never made it.

Oh god my old videos were so annoying lol. Thank gosh I privated them but like they were "rants" that weren't really rants they were like scripted. So annoying lol.

A small question. Why do people private their old videos that they dislike. I mean I get the idea, but dont you enjoy having a visible timeline of your progress and improvement and so on? Atleast that how I view it :D

It's still quite good though!

That completely sucks though especially when you lose that spark for it and you end up rushing...

Well thats the problem, and I think you agree, that after something like that happens, and you loose either all or a chunk of your work, its so hard unfortunately to keep your head straight :(

I do enjoy it! The thing is I don't need for OTHER people to enjoy it lol. That's why I simply private them and don't delete them lol.. :p
AAA I see :D I for some reason never thought about it that way, sorry :D It is fun though to go through your old videos and go "ou.....ouuuuu.....ouuuuky this goes into the never shall we speak of this box" :D
I do agree! It's happened to me so many times this week when my files lagged and then I would have to film a whole new take and then that take is bad...:(
Ouuu :( is your work scripted or more improvisation besides the topic itself? If you dont mind me asking of course : )
