Youtube Etiquette: Should you reply to all comments?

i read every comment, but not answering.
sometimes if there is a good or interesting question i answer it.
 
Well just reply to a few comments and maybe comment a general comment in ur comment section XD If ya reply every comment then its more like sending text messages to every1 XD And then yu have 3 page long discussion with the 1 person XD Just reply to a few comments and that should do the trick XD

But why not have it just like that? Just like you're sending text messages to everyone. I'd think that makes people feel like they're my friends, and that I treat them like they are people not just a group of fans. I don't even feel like any of my subs are my fans, can't even look at them like this.
I reply to mostly everyone. The only time I don't is when I don't really know how to respond or I've responded to someone before who wrote a similiar comment, so it's kinda pointless to reply to a new person again with the same answer. And I'd like everyone to get a sort of unique reply every time.
 
Thats true xD But i dont say not replying is the best xD Offourse ya need to reply :D Thats one way to interact with your subscribers/viewers ;) But i dont think i should reply to every SINGLE comment xD I think a few comments is pretty good and a comment in general for every1 ^_^ :D

It is good to reply to your comments, but don't overdue it. You don't want to clog the "____ Replied To" section with comments that aren't different from any other.
 
I used to respond to all my comments, but most of them are usually around the same statement " Omg i laughed so hard ( or something like that)

So i dont respond to those, it depends on the comment, if its a question,request, funny, etc, then i'll reply.

But i get so many now, that if i were too respond to all of them, it would flood the comment section.
