Youtube editor issues (again)

ok so i uploaded a video privately months ago and i made a section to add to it today i have finished it and i use youtube editor to join videos usually, but the first video (which is private) and already on youtube doesnt show up in youtube editor (but does on my videos) so how do i make it appear or get around this i do not have the video saved (is there a way of getting the video onto my computer?) thanks need help asap

Try downloading the video. YouTube gives you the option to download a video that you have posted. Try that and see if you can try uploading it again. They might deny it, saying its the same file in which case you would have to delete the original.

In the creator studio or video manager page, next to the edit button, click the drop down and it is one of those options. You are welcome
