YOUTUBE DRAMA - GirlGoneGamer is FAKE?! your thoughts

Hey everyone, so for those of you that don't know, GirlGoneGamer is a femal COD commentator that has recently come under fire from the YouTube community about being fake.

Essentially what this means is that she is not the one playing the games, someone else plays under her gamertag and then she records the commentary.

When this first started I was on her side, thinking that she wouldn't be going through all the trouble to just trick people and get a few subscribers.

But after seeing that she has nearly half a million subs and has never once done a live face came COD match, kinda suspicious.

Anyways, what are your thoughts? Or did you even know about this prior to this post? I'd love to hear your opinions :)
 
I personally don't care whose fake and what not... why should anyone, if it's not her gameplay so what? if it's someone she knows is playing and she commentates over it then so be it. I don't what the big deal is too be fair, I don't watch her but how she runs her channel is down to her in the end. If she doesn't play her matches then that's her choice.

I personally despise this whole youtube drama thing, because truly its a bunch of adults reacting over the smallest of things. Sorry to be so blunt that just my opinion.
 
Never heard of GirlGoneGamer or this SSS whatever that is :confused:

I don't see why she wouldn't play it herself, just by watching a few videos... unless I'm missing some crucial evidence here

I'm usually not into the drama aspect much either, this just kinda peaked my interest because two YouTubers that I watch kinda got into a scrap so I kept up on it XD

SSSniperWolf is another girl commentator,

and the reason she wouldn't is because it means she isn't actually as good as everyone thinks, which means that she's essentially taking credit for someone else's work.
