YouTube doesn't accept my music!

Hi everyone!
So I posted a video about my Everyday Makeup Look and YouTube just told me that I'm not allowed to use the songs that I choose.
So I know I'll have to edit the video again and then upload again with different songs but the thing is, I've seen so many youtubers using the exact same musics!! It annoys me that I can't use them as well I'm giving all the credits I recognize the music as YouTube asked me but still, not working.

So I need to know, how does that works? And... Where can I get free music for my videos and please please don't suggest the YouTube playlist because it's quite weak...

Thank you! :D

When I came into this thread I was expecting something along the lines of "I created my own piece of music that YouTube has claimed belonged to someone else. Why? How do I fight this?"

Though this is...eh.

YouTube has a selection of music you can use on your videos without having any copyright strike problems appear. Though since you already negated that, I would suggest looking up creative commons licensed music.

Yes, royalty free music is probably your best bet here. There is also the possibility to ask someone to make you a song that you can use. As a reward you just name is channel in the video or the description. What kind of music are you looking for anyway?

THAT'S THE PHRASE I WAS LOOKING FOR. Thank you. I thought creative commons also didn't sound very correct to me. Might be. Eh.

Yeah, I think creative common works just as well. I think both royalty free and creative common lincensed stuff work within the same parameters. So it's all good, you were rigth after all ;).
