YouTube Custom Thumbnail Changing Help

I've Got It
Hi there, just wanting to ask for a bit of advice when it comes to changing YouTube custom thumbnails. I've decided to go back over my older videos and change their original custom thumbnail for a new & improved one. So I've done that with one of my videos today, (this video is about 4 months old and it originally had a custom thumbnail) - I changed it for my new thumbnail (it's been about 3 hours + now) and it hasn't changed. It is showing in my video manager, but not when I click 'edit'. Is anything out of the ordinary here?

What's the best advice when it comes to this? Am I best to just leave it and wait? Or is there a problem?

Sometimes Youtube need time to change the old ones to new or it's just your browser problem. Try to clear your cache/history
 
I've tried the F12 trick (and clearing the cache whilst doing it) and the thumbnail hasn't changed. - Thanks for the reply, hopefully it is a time thing I'd just like to hear peoples experiences with this also :)
 
I ALWAYS have this situation happen to me everytime I change my custom thumbnail. What I end up doing is asking somone else to check out my video to see if they notice a change in thumbnail and most of the time other people will see the updated thumbnail but I can't from my computer.

Have you tried the empty the cache approach?
 
Arghhh, so what's the deal with this then? haha it keeps getting worse! So out of curiosity I viewed my channel on Internet Explorer (I use Chrome) and of course the thumbnail I'm waiting for to change has changed exactly how I want it.. I've cleared my caches in Chrome and the thumbnail still doesn't show up.. I hate when YouTube is this glitchy -_- - Thoughts anyone?

Hey man heres a fix, follow these steps and it'll work!

1) Go to "edit" on your video.
2) Upload the custom thumbnail.
3) Hit "SAVE CHANGES"
NOW IS THE IMPORTANT PART
4) Go to "Enhancements" at the top, next to "info and settings"
5) Hit "Save"
This for some reason gets around the bug!
