YouTube Copyright Strikes

The magic word is "may" expire after 6 months ("will" was only introduced in January) And yeah, you don't get notified once it's expired.
what do you mean? does that mean they might never go away? or that they might take longer?

Right, it may expire after 6 months but it could say for longer or permanently if you got the strike before January.
Well me, I got my strike 2 days ago so I'm "good". Well as good as someone with 1 strike could be.

Your first strike will disappear after your channel has been in a good condition for 2 months.
If you received a second strike already it won't go away and you will need to start a new channel.
Have you deleted the video(s)?
I deleted the video I got a strike for are you saying the time it takes to clear a strike is shortens to 2 months?

No I thought the strike would be removed after 2 months. At least I saw it somewhere a while ago. But if I try to look on google again now I see many people have different periods on when their strike was removed. On my old account it took 2 or 3 years and for the people on google they say it depends on youtube when they will remove your strike.
