Not if you aren't asking for subs. If you subscribe to me, great. If you don't, great. I'm just glad you came to check out my video. And if you asked me to check out your channel maybe I would and maybe I wouldn't. I only subscribe if I love the channel. Never because someone subscribed to me.
 
I get spam from channels all the time. They compliment me/the video and then ask for a sub so I say "Thanks, hope you enjoy my future content, got a lot coming soon!" (Somewhere along the lines of that) is that a good idea? How do you deal with spammers?

I get sad when I see these kind of comments... I'm usually excited when I see someone new has commented on something of mine.... but then I see the nature of the comment and I'm like.... "awe.... that sucks" hahaha[DOUBLEPOST=1454430314,1454430231][/DOUBLEPOST]Honestly I'm surprised I didn't see any "DON'T give mean or negative comments" That's where I thought this thread was going, and the thing is, you can't stop the negative comments.... there will always be negative comments when you get big enough.... that's just how the Inter Webs work ;) hahahaha
 
I agree with this, and honestly, I don't really HATE when people advertise on my channel but at the same time.. I do have some things in place to make those kinds of comments get spammed so... probably nobody else will see them.. sorry mateys lmao

I also hate when someone who has a lot more subs than you (as an example, I have 300 ish subs and someone with 11k subs) comments something along the lines of
omg, I love your channel!! I've subbed and I hope you'll check out my channel and sub back and like!!!

Also, blatant lie about subbing because I think it's easy to tell with my small sub number.. I keep track pretttty hard so...

I try not to rely too much on watching my subscribers but when one drops off im like Why you no like me?
