Youtube Career

I am just doing it for fun right now, my kid's really love doing the videos. But if it turned into something more than that i would not mind at all.
 
It's often fun but I'm not working my a** off solely for fun. I want it to be my career because I have fun doing it.
 
I'm mostly doing it for fun, but I'd like to start earning off of it. I don't have enough vision to imagine actually making a full living off of it, but a friend of mine somehow manages to pay his rent with YouTube. He worked hard to get there, and he still holds a full time job, but I mean, being able to pay some bills (or save to buy better equipment) would be a deffo plus.

I'm working towards a career as a Makeup Artist and I'm starting to see YT as a part of that in means of getting myself out there and branding myself in a way. I didn't start YT for this but it has lead to it.
 
YouTube is very much a hobby at the moment, I just want to make my friends laugh and enjoy content that create... But 100% would love for it to be me career, but only if my channel is at a good enough point to do that. I have other plans in life right now
 
All in all, I'm in it for the fun and to help motivate others. If something comes out of it, then great! But for the most part I'm working more toward a writing and acting career.
 
For fun. Sure, I wouldn't mind quitting my job and living off of Youtube with enough cash to get a bigger place and whatnot... but let's be realistic here.
 
I'm doing this as a hobby since I love to edit and record but i would love to have it as a career but being realistic I don't see myself gaining enough money till I am like 30 or even 60 lool
