YouTube Bullying

There are a lot of nasty comments on YouTube but when it comes to this particular case of bullying, it's quite worrying. A certain YouTuber has lost over 200k sub's in a few months and the amount of hate and death threats he gets in the comments is worrying. His videos receive more dislikes than likes but through all this he admiraly marches on through it.

A lot of you may have heard of a YouTuber called KSI, he has a FIFA channel with over 7 million subs. I'm a fan of him. Anyways he helped another guy called Gudjon Daniel get rather well known on YouTube. Gudjon Daniel apparently used KSI for subs and apparently pretends he doesn't know who KSI is. This has caused uproar with KSI and his fans.

Regardless of the circumstances, no one should have to go through what Gudjon Daniel is getting. Take a look at his channel, some of the comments are disgusting especially the death threats. His channel is a warzone. This is real bullying and something needs to be done. But I fear no one can do anything.

I think YouTube needs to step up their game when it comes to trolls and nasty death threat comments.

Maybe I should send an email to KSI asking him to ask his fans to back off?

PS I am on no ones side of this silly YouTube argument I don't want to start up a heated argument.

Actually if KSI knew about the bullying and death threats, was asked to ask his fans to back off, and decided not to, that would make him such a massive d**k. So in the hope that he's not a massive d**k, someone should contact him about it. No one deserves that sort of treatment over stupid Youtube gaming b******t (and I say that as a gaming Youtuber myself).

YouTube can't really control things like that. It's the internet, and people have free will, so they will do as they please. It isn't really a case if YouTube/Google can do anything to help prevent what is going on, but if the person being attacked doesn't have the resolve to handle it, then maybe they should just disable comments altogether, or not be on YouTube. Yeah, it sucks, and I've never been anywhere near famous on YouTube. However, I was bullied nearly all through school (not just name calling, and teasing either. Like having rocks thrown at me by a group of people) looking back at it now, I wish I had the resolve I have now to do something about it myself. No superman is going to come to the rescue when things like this happen, you need to be your own hero. That's not to say the love and support of others doesn't help. :)

All I'm going to say is if someone helped you get exposed to a larger audience, you better thank them forever and not "pretend you don't know them". He's getting exactly what he deserves if that was the case. Not the bullying mind you, but the loss of subscribers in the masses.

YouTube can get out of hand - You've got to have skin thick as ICE and the right mindset.

I'm going to email him. I won't hold my breath though, i can imagine these big YouTubers don't have time to go through all their emails.

Well messaging this guy would be good but I get the feeling he might already had an idea about what is going on :/
I have no other ideas to suggest though, people are cruel and the internet makes them worse

What LyfeWithDragons said.
I get that real lifebullying is terrible, however, if you get bullied online, don't read, don't respond, disable comments, etc. It can be saddening, but honestly I don't really get why some people just can't turn off and take it all too seriously. As for YouTube death threats, heck, even i've gotten at least 20 in my online career..They really aren't worth sweating about.

Same, i've received threats online occasionally. But this guy is getting it in droves on a daily basis. That has gotta get anyone down.
