YouTube Begging

I understand if they are asking you to Like/Fav/Comment (I'm guilty myself.) but asking to click ads is against Adsense terms of service..

It's is wrong to ask, its one thing to tell them to comment, rate, and subscribe, and another to essentially ask them to click on an ad so you get money.

Yup, it's against the ToS. It sickens me when people only care about the money like that, i don't like it when youtubers "use" their audience. No offense, but people like that and people who go "LIKE FOR ICE CREAM" and all that, just to end up on the front page somehow... tsk tsk tsk. That isn't how people should interact with their audience

Once Google gets wind of this (which they WILL, trust me) their Adsense account will be shut down asap. Great way to screw over your YT career!

Somebody who doesn't have the morals to respect the advertising industry doesn't get my viewing support. They are basically stealing money from the advertisers. I choose to not associate myself with thieves.

Your question was answered, but...
I'd love to have the attitude of Charlieissocoollike, he says he'd never ask you to do that because if you like the video you'll do it anyway
Actually no. So often I click away from a YouTube video that I really enjoyed, and then think "Oh s**t, I forgot to like it!". Sometimes I go back to do it (if it's a small YouTuber who needs it) but most of the times I don't. So I see the "please like" as more of a reminder. Of course you have to do it in a way that doesn't annoy the viewers or it will backfire. In my regular videos I try to make the "call to action" as creative as possible.
