YouTube becoming TOO professional?

Well I watched one of his 'fridays with pewdiepie' videos and he explained how he never would hire a crew. However, pewds is TRAINED in making videos also. I have no problem in how videos are made, I just think that YT should do a better job at promoting channels that are new. You can do everything they suggest to a T and STILL only have about 200-300 subs and/or views. As far as gaming is concerned, you almost have to curse like a sailor, and many started out playing horror games, because for some reason, folks like to see grown men look like fools when they are scared. Oh and don't let me get started on the females on YT. So you have to show tits and a** to make it on YT? Lool, check out the most popular females and see. Lmao.
 
It is a big step for youtubers for people to treat them better, but again it's way too evollved from what youtube originally was. Like any big site, it grows and changes.
 
I like both as long as the content is good, I like Mystery Guitar Man for the reason that he got good content. Sometimes he got a lot of people working on a video and sometimes not.
 
I try to make everything high-quality and by myself because I know from firsthand experience how everything get trickier when you add more people. Buuuut... I am making a longer sequel to my homestuck shortfilm and going all out. I mean production studio renting, hiring local actors and a lot of special effects :D
 
I honeslty love the professionalism of it all! It makes youtube feel more and more like TV, which is good as I no longer watch TV outside of sports.
 
Depends on the content. If people are doing stuff that requires special effects or filming stuff like shows then yeah professional is a good way to go. Like that Mortal Kombat series they did, but that's also keeping in mind that it had a serious tone and no comedy. I wouldn't say YouTube is becoming too professional as it was meant to be for a wide variety of people from those who could only record using a camera on their phone, to thos who can afford to use studio quality cameras that can cost thousands.
 
I cant stand the majority of big youtubers anymore. All they are concerned about is manipulating their audiences. They have publicity teams behind them telling them what to say and do and they follow it to the T. They are all basically politicians.

Personally any youtuber who just does what they want is someone i will watch, im fed up of the masses of youtube channels that blatenly sugar coat their content because they are afraid of backlash or what people will think. I wouldnt call it gritty videos i would call it uncensored videos.
 
Eh... I never really thought about that. I guess if it helps them, more power to them. I guess you could say I fall under the same category as far as having a "team". Me and my parents. xD

I like the professional look of the bigger YouTubers. I want to look professional like them, but I'd never want to be told what to do/say on MY YouTube channel. That's nuts. >_>
