YouTube added a download button?!?

Even with copyrighted material I believe you can... I have a few songs in my vids that are copyrighted from my early days and I can download them fine

If the video has copyrighted material, I don't know if you can download it, maybe that's why it didn't show up.

My recollection is that it won't allow us to download something that has been claimed through ContentID. I had used a song years ago and the video was blocked in Germany for copyrighted content. It would not allow me to download my video.

When I had accidentally deleted my very first video from my harddrive I downloaded it from YouTube but I was pretty bummed about the awful quality. It was definitely more "blocky" than the original.

Ya, the feature has been there for a bit now. I used it when I was backing up my videos to an external a while back.
