Your Youtube Schedule

Hey!
I was wondering what kind of youtube schedules you guys have regarding recording and editing.
This is directed to those who put out consistent content 1 video a day, video a week, or those with very large projects that put out 1 video a month.

When I first started I just did recordings and edited whenever I felt like it, as long as the content I promised came out on time it was fine. I made a nice cushion (2o videos premade) for myself to take a break, but I've started slacking recently. I decided to devote 6hours a day when I can to purely youtube related stuffs so I don't slack too much. I set a timer and pause it when ever I take a break.

Do you guys have a schedule like this?
Do you just go with the flow?
Is youtube just a hobby so it doesn't really matter?

2 videos a week/ 1 video week depends, i mean i have series and it takes awhile to get to current parts of a game when your not let's playing and you only show those parts(boss battleon) <--- I fight bosses :)

Im so messed up, I dont have a squedual. But when I used to have one I used to recod one day, next day I edit and if I finish I upload on the day or the day after, then I would give myself 2-3 days of rest and the cycle continues

I mostly slack...I really need to start making videos again. When I do make videos, it will probably be half-weekly (every 3 or 4 days). My time is mostly spent playing the game itself, instead of making clips.

We stick to a 2 video (sometimes 3) per day schedule. We have several hundred videos already shot that haven't been uploaded as a buffer, but we try not to dip into that video vault as it's better to stay more relevant with recently shot videos.

I make 2 videos a month, sometimes manage to get ready a couple of days in advance, sometimes on the edge of the deadline but yeah, it works for me. :)

I can't even imagine shooting and editing a video every day! i try to do like one a week, but i guess the stakes are higher for gaming channels

I wouldn't say that the stakes are higher, and I wouldn't say it's easier either.
Yeah it doesn't take that much creativity or planning to make letsplay videos, but you have to release them consistently.
My program is a cycle of 4 different daily letsplay videos, special video on Wednesday day, and an additional vlog on Friday.

This is just how I make my channel and is no way the 'right' way to run a channel =)[DOUBLEPOST=1405366436,1405366270][/DOUBLEPOST]

Since a lot of my letsplays are recorded in advance there is a big leap in quality between series because of the improvements I make. I wish I could go back and re do them, but they're over and done with. It makes me more excited and eager to finish the current one so I can begin publishing them.[DOUBLEPOST=1405366596][/DOUBLEPOST]

Your content takes a lot of time and effort to make so it's very understandable! If you're really dedicated though just plan to set aside some time for your videos everyday. It's like learning how to do anything, you have to practice everyday, music, art, sports.

I pre-record a lot but slack off in editing and sometimes edit the same day or the day before to have it schedule :) I make from 4 - 6 videos a week :) Soon enough when I get the time will start doing it daily ^_^ Just right now don't have the time

That gets frustrating right!? I know the feeling of just wanting to complete parts of the game, but the game hinders you from doing that having you level up or do tedious work inbetween to continue the story.
