Your Thoughts On This

Wasnt the reason why they removed "Video Response" was because all of a sudden a bunch of Reply girls appeared and started scamming the system?

I recall, that was the reason why TAGS of a video are no longer public : )
Yeah I remember the Reply Girls. But the responses were around for a while after that. But that probably had something to do with it as well.

- There is always someone ready to ruin everyone elses fun! I hate that they can't just ban them and be done with that...

Well, the problem was they were not doing anything wrong, they were just taking advantage of the system. They found a loophole and exploited it :/

I like it because it has more comment s and youtube thinks the comment are good if there not reported so it gets bumped up more

It's a lazy way of doing it but I guess some people just do whatever it takes, I mean promotion is promotion in whatever way, hey if people hate you they still know you, therefore even if they 'promote' bad things about you, it's still promotion, in my books, any promotion is good promotion I suppose, I'm not a fan of spamming however, maybe only do that thing once, or if you're going to do it more than once at least make it freaking unique every time and put the effort in that way!

I always run across those kind of comments, and even if they say something along the lines of "i know i might be spamming, but this is the only way i can promote myself..." -BUZZ- WROOOONG. Musicians can promote themselves in quite a variety of ways, whether it is through sharing your music with friends, Facebook, soundcloud, streaming the song/EP/album on your Youtube, Reddit, it can be spread around. I never really bother with these comments because half of them p**s me off. "My dream is to be a singer for a living! plz check me out" That is what the industry has become. Singers, entertainers, we don't need that, we need musicians who write from the heart, not cover songs in the charts hoping for hits, not writing and making your entire discography 95% about being confident in yourself, how you want to get this girl, partying all night, living your life, it's all the same boring and generic stuff. It needs to be real, inspired, and inspiring without all the cliches and cheese we already see in every other pop song in the charts. /EndRant
