Your Purpose for YouTube

I did it to make a living doing what I love. Making videos about humor (skits, funny thoughts, ect.). I just like making people laugh, but unfortunately I can't actually see people laughing when I make these videos so it is kind of saddening in that response.

Yes it is about the money unfortunately (everything is... otherwise you would starve), If you didn't want to make a living doing what you love on you tube then whats the point really? ha ha.

Then again, I don't need a lot of money to live. Just the fact that I don't have to stress about living expenses, food, how to pay for my car payment, and stuff like means I have to do something for a living. I love youtube and I also love making stuff that makes people laugh. If I can combine that will making enough money to live then why wouldn't I go for it?

alswo this lol :P

Fun, money, people to talk to, fangirls. I'm not going to act like Mother Teresa "Oh I just want to brighten some days, money is evil"

I just like getting my music out there :) It's also fun to make the videos (even with the terrible editing program that I have, and can barely do anything with).......To me, it's just a form of artistic expression :)

I started out of pure curiousity. I was a regular user on YT and I was genuinely curious as to what YT was like "on the other side". I wanted to know how easy or difficult it was for a channel to grow, get views, subs, comments etc, if you could make money from it and if so, how much etc. So instead of just looking for answers on forums, I decided the best way to get answers to my questions was to take the plunge and start a channel and see for myself first hand.

Now I've started, yeah, it's not easy is it lol? But I am enjoying the challenge of growing a channel. I treat it like a game of chess tbh. I also obv love teaching people and seeing their progress and getting awesome comments from all around the world from people telling me how my videos are helping. And yes, I am not going to lie, I also have a long-term plan to hopefully earn some sort of a passive income from my channel in the future. No taboo for me either. I think that is fair enough bearing in mind how much time and work I put into it now for peanuts :)

My purpose on YouTube is to upload videos for my own satisfaction.
I enjoy watching myself in videos.
