Your Personal Network Recommendation for Me?

Hi everyone, I recently left TGN and am looking for a new network to join. Most of all, I want a high revenue share because my channel is getting roughly 2 million views a month and I think that might be enough to make a living from, with the right network and a bit of luck.

Currently, I'm considering joining either Curse, Freedom, or Reckoning (a Creative Nation subnetwork).

I have received a deal from Freedom for a managed 90/10 revenue split with no lock-in.

Curse looks great with their 90/10 revenue split and no lock-in, but the catch is that my channel with be affiliated for some time before it switches over to managed.

I was just contacted by a network called Reckoning, associated with Creative Nation. They offered a non lock-in, 95/5 revenue share, managed contract.

What are all your thoughts on this? Would joining any of these networks be a bad idea? I don't want to rush into a trap like I did with TGN. Have you got any other networks to recommend?

I'd suggest seeing what you make without a network, if you haven't already. I don't see a point in splitting money with a network unless they are offering something very special that you can't do on your own.

Edit: Forgot to add- I've heard some shady stuff about Machinima. I suggest looking into complaints people have had with the networks you're interested in. Then weigh the pros and cons.

Machinama isn't trustworthy from what I've been hearing for a little over a year now. I'm with Fullscreen. The cut isn't as good as it could be (that 90% to the creator you're talking about), but it's right there with youtube itself as for what you get from monetizing. However, if you want libraries of sound clips, music, and a bunch of other tools to help you out then they're a good option.

Just confirming- theoretically, I should be able to get maximum profit from just using YouTube's system and remaining unpartnered, because I'm getting 100% of the profits, right? Or do MCNs somehow get more money from monetizing and split it with you, resulting in an overall higher income? For some reason I always assumed partnered channels get more revenue than normal ones, but I realize now that doesn't make any sense. On the downside I guess I won't have the copyright protection MCNs offer if I stay unpartnered.

I believe youtube gives you about a 60 for you 40 for them split. It could be different since last I heard, if anyone wants to confirm.

I think even though your losing 10% on a network like curse, the advertising sales tends to boost your CPM quite a bit and I find if I've got a high cut I generally make more money on networks than YouTube itself. A non lock in network is the way to go IMHO.

dont join creative nation or any subnetwork with it cause they give the lowest cpm ever

Is that just from your own experience, or does everyone get low CPMs from CN? I was under the understanding CPM was based more on the channel and demographic, not the network.
